Seen this at the top of the forum & wondered IF anyone has tried this ?

Read where it has to be downloaded, didn't like that & wish you could just buy the book. Anyone know IF you can & how ?

Also, IF this isn't what it's cracked up to be, any other training books that you WOULD 100% reccomand ?

Thanks so much !

It's a good resource, pretty well organized-You can get similar information from various sources.

Another online source similar to sitstayfetch that is also downloadable is:
http://www.dogproblems.com/

The downloadable book in pdf format is called "Secrets of A Professional Dog Trainer" Adam Katz the author is located in So Calif.

I don't care that both start from the theory that you are working from a "problem" standpoint but there is good training information/ideas in both of them if you get beyond that misconception.

Today? Again they are still a good additional resource but....You can get a lot of the same and better information right here if you are willing to go through the threads and ask questions. There are good hard copy training books that are recommended by several folks here that also address the areas in the above two online resources.

It's a matter of what you prefer to have in your training inventory. The more information/ideas you can obtain for yourself, the better you can pick and choose the determine the best direction for yourself.

Thank you..........

Wanting to learn how to deal with a reactive dog around other dogs & best way to dog socialize.

Wondered about SitStayFetch, because after reading what people wrote it about how it so helped them, thought it might be the answer ???

I would rather have a book instead of downloading something though.

Thanks again............

You're

Some of the books recommended by others on this site include:

Patricia McConnell's The Other End of the Leash
Sheila Booth's Purely Positive Training: Companion to Competition
Jean Donaldson's Culture Clash
Suzanne Clothier's Bones Would Rain From the Sky.

The two online books are good resources- I do refer back to them from time to time for specific areas. Though there is common information in many places, every author may have a little more to add to your knowledge and I think you will something new in each. It's a matter of what works best for you and where you want spend your $$$$ in your learning process.

Good Luck!
