12 weeks old. She and her sister were the last ones left of the litter. The others all found homes at 8-9 weeks old.

i'm paranoid about ears too. I always ask people not to mess with her ears when we're out and about and generally they do pretty good. I mean she's teething and her ears have been up the entire time so i know i shouldnt be concerned anymore but i think i'll stop being a pain about it after she turns one. That tip thats folded down on her right ear will never stand. but its cute!!! Shelby still has some pretty big ears on her and she's 18months old. Shasta's dad was HUGE. From her head size, she's got a good amount of growing to do so i expect to see those ears get bigger still. its okay to be paranoid about the ears.... its a GSD trademark!! but you'll love em all the same!

I'm trying not to be too paranoid because he hasn't even started teething, but it's REALLY hard :D

how were his parents ears? generally what i've learned was if their ears were standing, you really wouldnt usually have anything to worry about. How old is your pup?

Adorable!! and I love the floppy tip, I think it's sooo cute! looks like her coloring has changed quite a bit also, she is growing into a really beautiful dog!

How much does she weigh now? my pup just turned 4 months old and is 34lbs., everyone keep telling me that she's going to be really big because of the size of her ears (no idea if that's a true measure) but her ears look similar to your pup, maybe even bigger (we tease her and call her satellite LOL)
lol yeah. I've called her satellite a couple of times and she glares at me! hehe. At last weight check i did at the banfield scale at petsmart she weighed 43.6lbs. I had hoped it was more because she's a pretty large girl but she's not underweight and she's certainly not overweight. Her floppy tipped ear, when i realized it would never stand i was a little upset but its definitely cute! and totally her. She's not perfect. She's actually a massive PITA like when she's in her crate. She thinks she needs to be free to land shark my entire houseso she barks and whines and despite it never working to carry on, she still hasnt realized her barking and whining only gets her ignored and she stays in the crate even longer. lol. i'm always told to look at their ears and their feet to help determine how big they'll be. IMO, judging by their ears and feet is hard to do anyway. From what i've noticed, Shasta has feet that correspond ith her current size. Her ears... well, those are huge but she's a GSD! Shelby's ears fit her head, Shasta has huge ears.

Shasta

He's adorable when he's sleeping... when he's awake; land shark.

totally know the feeling!!! Shasta has decided that chewing on us NOW is a good thing. She's driving me nuts with it.

I think my Shasta's ears are quite compact for a GSD. Her feet, on the other hand, are rather large.

lol. she may just be on of the shepherds that her ears grow WITH her body instead of ahead of her body. Feet are an entirely different story!!! With my Shasta i noticed that her ears are huge and when her feet look bigger than usual, she's about to hit a growth spurt and we'd better make sure we have enough food to cover that period of growth lol.
