we took beamer to her second class yesterday, i finally had started feeling better so i had taken her outside & played & practiced a bit before we left. we worked on stay.. it was incredible. the trainer did it a few times first, then me & my husband did it, she was like uh no way the first time & then did great! the trainer even pretended to eat in front of her, she didn't move, he threw a hot dog in front of her at her feet & she didnt even touch it. im so proud of my puppy! the prong thing collar is working great, she is finally obeying me lol. still having some trouble when she sees other dogs or cats, but not as bad as before. the trainer said in a couple classes we will walk her around the horses he has & work with her with that distraction so she learns not to focus on it..
jumping is still a problem, i keep forgetting to mention it to the trainer when we are there, & i think she realized she has a "big dog bark" now because she has been barking a lot lately, & she usually just whined before. its funny, im pretty sure shes just testing the bark lol.
but overall i cant believe how good she is getting, we sit there during class with huge smiles on our faces LOL.
