This girl is not on Petfinder yet. Susan just emailed me her pic. Said she is depressed. No other info at this time. Someone please help this girl!

oh my gosh....after todays drama of trying to save the 14year old and feeling sooooo good about the outcome, this one appears!!!! I can't tell you all how much I just want to say I'll take her...get her to me and I will take her...but I can't..... she's waaaayyyy to far away....I have three furbabies but to be honest with you I'm really starting to wonder if I could handle a fourth being a rescue dog...I have sooooo much love to give....if I could just bring myself to get it to me and maybe then I could find it a home??? sorry just dreamin..... I wish I were rich...... I guess all I can do is post my usual "anybody looking for a new best friend line?"

OMG. I just got off the phone with the shelter. She has until tomorrow morning.
She was an owner turn-in. She is scared to death, hides under her Kuranda bed and won't come out. They have not been able to see her interact with people or other dogs.
She does come out to eat after they leave, but the only way they know is because her food is gone.
I'm heartbroken. Is there a chance this amazing board can rally together again?
They don't know if she would be a fear biter or not, but they also have not heard her growl, bark or for that matter, heard any sound from her.
Poor baby ...

Hey yall. The shelter folks described her exactly as I saw her yesterday. I am hoping that today she might warm up to me a bit more when I make my daily visit. I brought her some special treats. I have the owners phone number and I have been trying to reach them for more info on her. They have not answered their phone and their voice mail is full.

She just came in yesterday and all owner surrenders are candidates for gassing regardless of when they come in. If we can find a spot some where for her, I can put her on my "wish" list. Those are the dogs I feel I can move the next week. AC is really good about keeping those for me.

oh please put her on your 'wish list' if that will buy us some more time!!! the boards very successful long as she doesn't bite....sounds and looks like she's just scared to death...or should I say scared of death????

This Girl needs a Spa Day, gentle touch and sweet words to make her smile. She needs to know what it is to be a noble German Shepherd, to have the love of a kind person

Hi,

I just got off the phone with Susan, Echo will be taking this girl. It's going to take a couple of weeks to get her out, vetted and moved north. Susan will be helping with the arrangements on her end. I may be posting for transport help soon. I'll keep everyone posted.
