I have sent off an email to the rescue coordinator for the rescue I volunteer with. We pull from here alot. I told her I would help cover the cost of vetting but I have also been told they are good about vetting there once an animal has been committed to, and of course get back into fostering for this girl. We are not committing yet to this baby but if we are I will certainly let everyone know. Until then any other rescue willing to take this baby on please go forward.

Thanks Tina. According to the Petfinder site there is a lady named Lori there @419-774-5892 that will help get the pup vetted. Please let us know how it goes. I can't imagine laying in a scary cage with a broken leg and not having someone do anything about it. Kind of weird, I just thought of that case in NY where the lady died in the ER waiting room of a hospital and no one did anything to help her..... I can't donate right now, too many obligations out there but I can help out in any other way that I can.

Cassandra from Prescious Paws is right now trying to get thru to them.. as I said we pull from there and bring these pups up to Canada often. I am not sure who Cassandra speaks to there or uses for vetting but I do know we get a good deal. I guess if this goes thru I am now going to have to break the news to my other half we are fostering again... we were taking a short break after our last foster, he was with us for over 8 mths and I felt my 2 dogs needed a break. Oh well we must do what we must do specially under these circumstances!

I will let everyone know what is going on shortly.

Okay this pup can be marked as saved... 4 other rescues beat us to her. St. Francis Animal Sanctuary is taking her and there are 3 other rescues in line after that.

Oh this makes me feel GREAT today!
