<span style="color: #330033">"HOGAN" was e-mailed to me in hopes of finding a place for him to go by this weekend.

Hogan is living on a chain. His owner has agreed to sign him over to Dogs Deserve Better this weekend, but he has nowhere to go.

Here is the information I received about Hogan: </span>

<span style="color: #CC0000">Hogan needs a place to go. Hogan is a gentle dog, likes kids, dogs and cats. He is very smart and easily trained. He is a 5 year old un-neutered male.
He is living chained and we can have him signed over this Saturday but we have no place for him to go. His owner is keeping him chained and is willing to let us find him a home.

This makes me so sad. I can't stand the thought of any dog living his life on a chain with hardly any human interaction. This just goes back to the age old question ... "why get a dog in the first place" It just ticks me off!!

Hogan is very handsome and hopefully someone will take him in and give him some TLC and nice warm place to sleep.

Well Hogan arrived today. I am very concerned about his appearance. The lump is rather large and very hard. ( I have had a dog in the past that had a saliva gland that had to be removed, very costly. ) He also has something going on in his gut. Can not put my finger on it but it is something that needs attention ASAP. He is a good boy but very confused right now. I will keep you updated on his vet visit. Keep your fingers crossed this gut problem is not serious.......

I am keeping him in my prayers and thoughts Melody. We just fell in love with his picture. He reminds us of our Gaige.
