Poor baby....look at the chewed ears....looks about 6yrs or so based on the bit of grey around the mouth....just a guess....looks so sad....

oh my gosh, what an awful enclosure-its soooo small and the walls have all those paw prints where dogs have tried so hard to get out.... poor baby...

Have pulled corgis from this shelter...a BAD place...do have some contacts I can dig up if someone wants to help this girl...

This dog, and all the other dogs with 8/4 euth dates at Gaston have to be out by tomorrow....we just found out that AC is holding a euthanization class...where other counties come and learn how to gas the animals..on M/T/W next week...that means that the dogs are in major danger, and they may not even honor holds that are SUPPOSED to keep them safe from euth on Monday morning...

oh my gosh they can be killed so people can train on how to gas dogs??????? We've got to get him out of there!!

What is needed in learning how to gas a dog? You open the door and slam them in and turn on the gas. You wait a bit and toss in some more. After awhile you scoop them up -- dead or alive -- and dispose of them.

Bumping this baby up -- one of 3 GSDs posted here in danger of being used in a gassing class.

Trying to keep the 3 together on the thread in case anyone can go and evaluate all at once.

What can we do friends??? We have no time...but this is sooo barbaric...using these animals as examples on how to gas animals just blows me away... Please, I beg you, let ME teach the class!!! First you throw the people in, you close the door, turn on the gas, etc....

The shelter IS open tomorrow from 10-2....if not pulled tomorrow, it will be too late on Monday. You can call and try to get a rescue hold, but we have been told that holds may not be honored b/c of this class.

I live near this shelter, but unfortunately cannot get there tomorrow...I am so sorry to let everyone down.

If someone can help to pull these dogs I will donate towards the costs of shots, boarding, etc. I just can't stand that these souls have already had such a difficult life to only have that life possibly end in more difficult circumstances. My heart is breaking here!

Rosa,

Understand how you feel about the people "teaching" a class on gassing, but there were some people in the 1940s, about 6 million, that were thrown in a room and gassed so let's not wish it on anyone or anything, even jokingly.
