I have no other information about this girl. Please let me know if you can help and I will put you in contact with the appropriate person. Per email I received:

This poor girl has no hair on her end and on the tail. AC wants to put her down and told them to hold off. She has to get out NOW!!!!!

Good Lord!!! Skinny and no hair!

She's probably a good girl who would be forever grateful for a loving home.

Who's the contact for this poor girl???
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

Looks like she may have Demodex along her sides, but the top of her pelvic area looks like chronic skin/neglect. Niamh the old girl I adopted a few weeks ago looks similar.

Let me know if I can do anything to help.
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

Does she have green stuff in her eyes?
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

She definitely has stuff in her eyes.....the picture has kind of a blue tint to it....maybe that's why it looks green....YUCK! Poor Baby.
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

Not sure if it's the general irritation or just being generally run down or what but I see a lot of eye gunk in dogs dealing with massive skin problems and it's not typically anything serious. Hopefully her's isn't either.

Poor girl!
There is an absolutely gorgeous dog under all that, you can tell.

Lori, have you met her? Any temp info?

Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

I have been out of town and have not met this girl. Ted (head ACO) says she was dumped and showed up in someone's yard so he was called to pick her up. He feels her hair loss is due to fleas. Remember Bitsy from last October? Hers was fleas and malnutrition, and she had a glorious shiny black coat in a couple of months. Silvia met this lady and took these pictures; she say she is very sweet & friendly.

We can get her to Dr. Gensel on Monday if only a rescue will say the word!

Yeah, that gunky eye stuff usually accompanies mange in most dogs. I agree that there is a stunning dog under all that neglect. I am praying she gets rescued.

Ohhh this poor girl! How uncomfortable she must be. With a little TLC and she could blossom into one special girl..
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

Bump! She has a beautiful face. Will help if a rescue will vouch for her!

Bump again.....looks like she has never had a kind word...she needs a chance.
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!

I can't get this girl off of my mind. No dog could ever deserve to be neglected so severely. And you know that she would be so appreciative and dedicated to an angel willing to help her.
Bumpng you back up sweetheart!
Re: Elizabethtown, NC Female - No time!
