To make a very long story short, 6 years ago I pulled Steffi from animal control because she was going to be euthanized that day. The male GSD trapped with her had already been euthanized. Little did I know how my life was going to change, because 3 weeks later on July 8, 2002, we had 11 puppies.

So today we have 11 birthdays and one gotcha day to celebrate! Happy Birthday Rio, Cooper, Jasmine, Jade, Cassie, Midnight, Colt, Lugar, Gunnar, Bomber and J! And Happy Gotcha Day Steffi!

Rio, Cooper and Steffi stayed with us. Here's some shots from their B-Day photoshoot.

I would have loved a shot of Steffi with the boys, but I had to chase her around with the camera for an hour just to get these shots. She hates the camera.

looking again at the beautiful pics, and thinking back on previous pictures posted over the years, i can't help to think of what might have been had you not taken steffie. i'm sure you've thought that yourself many times. what an inspiration it is to rescue and adopt. bless you, sandy, and all the others who rescue and foster animals.
