I have a source of rifle shot wild rabbit and wondered if they would be OK to feed to my dogs if I ensure they are lead free and frozen to kill and worms etc. (the dogs see these as food anyway given the chance)
Any thought on this? Good? Bad?

We just got two from a local hunter who uses them for his dog training. DH just skinned them and hacked them up. The pups didn't get any but when DH let them sniff his fingers they about ate him alive!

Providing you remove all shot pellets there should be no problems but this does need to be done as swallowed pellets can cause problems for humans and dogs.
