Rex is 9 weeks old today and we went out to play in the snow. Last night was our first big storm and he didn't quite know what to think about having to go out in it while it was coming down so hard. Today it's clear and sunny so we went exploring a bit and he absolutley LOVES playing in the snow. It's only in the low 20's outside and I can't believe the cold didn't bother him at all. He kept trying to tunnel into the bigger drifts, rolled around in it, ate it, etc. He didn't want to come back in the house! Although, he is now curled up on my feet sound asleep.

Rex is so adorable! Love all his snow pictures!

I took both of my clowns out several times to play in this cold and snow, and they would like nothing more than to stay out all day in it, but I can't for some reason LOL What part of WA are you in? We are in Tacoma :)

So cute, especially the "snow nose" pics! Neko loves it too - I have been making good use of recall training to get her to come in when it's time. She really wants to eat snow, though, and I'm thinking this is not a good thing....anyone know?

Rex's gets his wish!

We haven't had much if any snow since Thanksgiving. Well, finally today there was enough for Rex to get out and enjoy his favorite weather. As you can see, there is a lot less snow but a LOT more Rex this time! Hard to believe he's grown this much in the last 11 weeks.

What a changed boy you have! He's so handsome! I love the 2nd set of pictures even more than the 1st. The snowflakes in the 2nd shot - very neat. And the head tilt in the last one - who doesn't love that! :)

Thanks Trish and Veronica. He is a complete nut for snow and we just haven't had enough for him this Winter. I am OK with the lack of snow but if he had his way, we would live where it snowed all year long. He is sitting by the door now whining to go back out even though we just came back in!

Love the shot of Phenix with the nose buried in the snow. Rex does the same thing. I wonder how they breath under there?
