Reilly 08-0435 came in with a pretty little collar and a tag but someone had scratched the numbers off the tag so that you can't read them. Please save him! Very playful 4 month old.

All of these cute pups are at the Chattooga County Animal Control in Summerville, GA. 20 to 30 per week have been euthanized in recent weeks. We are getting very few out alive. Please help at least one if you can. The shelter gets very confused apparently about which dogs are which and which ones are still there. They have told many rescues this week that dogs were already adopted - when they weren't. This can be a death sentence for a dog. So come and get them and if you send a driver, send pictures of the dogs you want. The kennel numbers don't seem to stay with the dog they were assigned to. They threw out all the old licenses and they are asking Rescues to fax new paperwork. The shelter is supposed to give dogs 5 days now but aren't adhering to this new rule. Last week they euthanized a purebred Boxer in one day, so please hurry if you can help. Thank you for your help!

got a reprieve...will be euthanized Monday morning........


"UPDATE: The shelter didn't euthanize on Saturday but have already scheduled the vet for Monday morning. Call between 7:30 and 8:00 if you can help a dog. (the director gets there before 8:00 The vet will get there soon after 8:00) 706-857-0679. Most of the dogs below will be put down."
