I am not sure how to word this -
What exactly is a title?
I read somewhere that titles come before the name, like Ch (insert kennel name here) is a Champion show dog.
But typically Schutzhund titles come at the end of a name.
Is there a difference?

Am I making any sense? :D

no question is stupid:) There are all kinds of titles you can get on your dog if you work hard at whatever it is you want to title in:)

CH XXXX,,means that dog was shown in the conformation ring and attained a championship title by gaining so many points against other dogs of the same breed..

If you show in say, Agility, Herding, Obedience, Schutzhund, you can get titles IF the dog passes the requirements needed in whatever venue you choose.

That's a quick explanation, hope I made sense:)

As far as I've ever seen, there's really no difference in the titling, just Champions come before the name (I guess because you should call him CHAMPION Sam, etc.) and titles in performance events have always come after. So Sam's a Champion in the show ring and has Schutzhund titles; he's Ch Sam Sch3

They're titles either way.
