get him checked out. Partial blockages can happen which can result in the symptoms you've mentioned. Its always recommended that the dog not be allowed to have a whole lot of water after chewing on rawhide because the water can cause the rawhide to expand in the stomach/intestines. Our dogs get rawhide but never have water for at least 4 hours afterward. Get your boy checked.
