Our dog, Seven, is a year and around 55-60 pounds. I picked up some frozen chicken backs at the pet store. The guy said they'd be ok for her to eat, including the bones. Is that correct? I want to double check with you guys first.

How young does a puppy have to be to start feeding raw chicken backs and chicken feet? My puppy is 4.5 months old i gave him chicken feet and he loved them..

Absolutely. Being fed mainly raw chiken my Lucy put on weight since I started feeding her differently. It is easier to digest than beef or lamb. Just make sure, the chicken you give is ORGANIC if you want to avoid occurence of allergy. All cortical (tubular) bones of legs and chicken wings, clavicles and shoulder blade joint should be removed, as exactly these bones are unsafe.
