Hello friends,

I have a one year old GSD. She is currently eating Taste of the Wild Salmon and is doing okay on it. I tried switching her to raw a few months back but after coming home to diarrhea in her crate a few times over the course of the week I decided it wasn't the right time to transition her.

I'd like to feed her some sort of raw bone once a week just to clean her teeth as they are already starting to build plaque.

Is this possible without upsetting her stomach?

If so, what kind of bones should i be giving her once a week?

Thank you in advance

If your dog does well with turkey, the neck would be a good choice. Just be aware of the size as turkey neck sizes can vary. At a yr old, chicken necks may be too small and swallowed whole depending on if he's a chewer or gulper.
