My "Why are there so many great GSDs in KY?" was more of a rhetorical question. Along with me lamenting the fact that they are so far away from MD.
I don't know much about KY, except it has what like 120 counties and many rural areas? There aren't a lot of resources for rescues - like local people to evaluate, pull, temp. foster or transport. I know dogs everywhere die in shelters on a daily basis. It just seems to pain me more, when it is a young, highly adoptable GSD.
