Rachel Ray creates line of dog food for charity

I just read about this today on FOX news. Here is the link in case anyone is interested. I am happy that she is working on giving back to the animals. The proceeds are already going to fund care for an injured dog. It is nice to see celebrities put their money where their mouth is!

GAG! Lots of corn (twice) and soybean meal.


Here's what I sent them....

It has corn in 2 sources. A cheap poorly if NOT digestable ingredient. Soybean meal SHOULD NEVER be in dog food. Not digested well and causes digestive problems especially in Northern breeds.

Quality foods have neither of these ingredients

I have not read the ingredients yet. I was just putting this out there and hoping for a lively discussion. I had a sinking feeling that the quality may not be the best. I am disappointed, but not at all surprised.
Chicken and Rice ingredients:

Well, darn. It would have been awesome if this new food was of high quality AND helping dogs financially. Then, I could have felt great about what I am buying to feed my gang! (Meaning, I would have switched)
There is however food that Cesar Milan has.... Dog Whisperer....here are those ingredients

The first thing I did when this link was posted was to go and look at the ingridents. Maybe if they change them then I will go buy some for my crew.
