Hi,

I was wondering if any of you that feed Solid Gold's Wolfking or Wolf Cub or Wee Bit had any problems when they switched the formula from Salmon Meal to Ocean Fish Meal?

I suspect they had to make the ingredient change because the salmon farm issues in California.

The small bag I bought has an exp. date of 1/09 but still has the old formula of Salmon Meal, I am wondering if I should even start with this food if I can't get it with salmon anymore?

I didn't know they switched. I feed Wee Bit but haven't noticed any change, well my Schip has had this weird light colored diarrhea on and off, an off white beigh color. But I just assume it's from the various rodents he partakes of in the backyard. I don't know why we even feed him.

I used to feed Wolf King and switch back and forth from that to HNFlocken.

It said in their brochure they used wild caught salmon, not farmed but I see now it says ocean fish meal on their website. Hmm. Thanks for the heads up.
