We just got Zoe recently. Her main function is family pet/companion. I don't really know much about pedigrees, but was curious about hers. Any thoughts?

Seeing a lot of pets and not much more. Not many titles and not a lot of OFA scores. I see the dam has OFA fair hips. Nothing for her elbows. Nothing for the sire - hips or elbows

Looks like grandparents were WGSL doogs. But it a few generations removed.

Thats what I saw, but I don't really have the knowledge about what they mean. I know she is a great pup and we are enjoying here tremendously, but was just curious about her family history.

OP, your puppy is from West German Showlines. You have to go back a few generations before hitting on dogs that have any sport titles listed. By the fourth and fifth generation back, you start to see a lot of the common names for this type of pedigree.

All West German showlines...who knows if grandparents have titles....if mother is really a Fleisherheim dog then her parents should be titled...if someone bought 2 dogs from Fleisher, and bred them - who knows why she has that kennel name...

As everyone says, credentials don't appear until the third generation....this is how many people breed for pets in this country....get pups from good dogs, then breed them, and then breed the offspring...in a few generations, because there is no knowledge, the quality starts to diminish....

Glad she is a nice pup...the background is full of well known kennels...
