I'm almost positive she isn't, I got her from a rescue at 6weeks old. They said she may be pure or mixed. In her litter 4 looked like her and 2 were a light sable. All had some small white markings

But I've been doing some research and apparently german shepherds can have white markings that fade. She is 11 weeks now and the markings (her socks) are starting to turn brown, a blaze on her face and a white tip on her tail.
My family thinks she may be husky or a malamute mix. Also When I got her she was 8 pounds and now she is 18 (6 weeks to 11) what do you guys think?!

I would actually lean towards the fact she IS purebred. She just clearly is faulty with the white. But the white spotting gene is there. I've seen a few GSDs that had similar markings to her. They were registered PB. She's freaking adorable

I'm leaning toward no. The white markings aren't throwing me off - in some of the pics, she looks purebred, and in other pics, she looks like a very high content mix. The shape of her face, her ear set, and her legs in some of the pics are throwing me off a bit.

She's a cutie, regardless!

Lol thanks everyone. I was just curious to see what others think. I love her so much... And it's amazing how she grows everyday! I've always had dogs and most of the shepherds growing up but she is my first puppy... Like... By myself, instead of the family dog. I bought my first house recently as well. So yay :) my next thing is I Can't wait to see how she looks when she is older! Her white has been fading quite a bit, and I was told she will probably get a "blanket" look going or a "saddle"
I'm excited! ImageUploadedByPG Free1372287826.737254.jpg ImageUploadedByPG Free1372287901.132773.jpg
