Hi! My 7 week old puppy, I feel, is underweight. The mother stopped nursing them early, so they were put on puppy food very young. He weighs 7 lbs right now. Is that unusual? Or could that be from weaning early? You can definitely feel his hip bones through his fluff

At one month a male GSD puppy is typically around 9-10lbs. So he's a tad underweight. I wouldn't be too concerned as long as he's eating his food.
