We finally have our puppy...he is so adorable. It's his first day without his littermates..I noticed he is a bit quiet - he's in his crate (door open)...he's been sleeping quite a bit... is this normal?

on the new addition to your family. This is all new to him and he has to adjust. Like you said it is his first time away from his littermates and he isn't really sure what to do. He will settle in and get used to his new enviroment soon. Can't wait to see pics of him!!

Well, yesterday was a great day...I love the little guy!

...He is starting to explore a bit more....He has a quiet confidence about him....Our older dog (2.5 years) is a little jealous and has nipped at the poor pup but my hubby is working with him...The pup tried to get one of the older dog's favorite toys and there you go...My mamma instincts came up when I heard the little yelp..We closely supervise the dog and pup so our response is immediate...I think I'm worried the dominance thing may play on the pup's confidence...Any thoughts would be appreciated
