O.k. not sure if this is typical behavoir for puppies or if my Duece is a tad bit aggressive. On a few ocassions while playing he has gone absolutely crazy. He starts biting very hard, growling, tearing around the room like he just took a hit of speed and is just absolutely uncontrolable to the point we have to put him in his crate to calm down. He gets plenty of exercise and it has only happened maybe 4 times since we got him 5 wks ago. I dont like putting him in his crate for bad behaviour but in this instance nothing else works.

Me too. She gets all low, and her ears are back, and she does just go a tad nuts. I like the term zoomies.

ZOOMIES... I love it! It's hilarious when Patton does it... he runs up and down the hallway, barking and sniffing the ground... I thought he was just a little psycho! Nice to know we're not alone.

I'm with everyone else, when my pups get the zoomies it cracks me up! BESERKER DOG in the house! I know when I look at my pups eyes during these bouts they have the joy joy joy thing going on as they whiz past.

Will say I prefer the Zoomies when they are outside rather than inside. Cause then I can join into the chase and have fun too.

FRAPping
Frequent Random Acts of Playfulness which will become RAPping Random Acts of Playfulness with age.
Dante is 4, he still RAPs in the house from time to time but I would say 99.9% of the time when he goes outside at some point each day he'll RAP

And
I agree it makes me laugh every time...in fact I'm smiling just thinking about it.

Love it! Rafi is not allowed to RAP in the house (per Cleo kitty) so he FRAPs outside! Cleo, on the other hand, at age 15 still FRAPs inside and out in the yard!

My pup gets the zoomies just before she decides to go to sleep. It cracks me up to see her run from one end of the kitchen to the other and then just lie down and look at me with those big brown eyes.

One time Kaiser got a case of the zoomies at midnight - I took him outside, he ran around the yard full speed about 4 or 5 times, and then came in and went to bed - slept soundly after that!

I thought my pup was psycho. Guess I am not alone. The other day, Sasha ran from the backdoor through the kitchen into the living room over the coffee table onto the couch, then jumped on my parents GSD. It was funny
