I would think the adult coat would be in by 10 months but the pattern and coloring could still change somewhat.

Lisl is not quite six months yet and has lost all of her puppy fur. Her adult coat is in, but it's still growing and getting longer.

Should all be in by now, but she could blow her adult one soon. Fiona did. I found some soft puppy fur on Fiona, at the bottom of her ears. My new favorite place. What about yours?

Ok I wasn't sure. I think she blew coat with her heat. She just ended it. Her ears are SUPER soft but everywhere else is coarse in comparison. She's all black, so color won't change. I just wasn't sure if what she was wedding was undercoat or puppy coat because its soft fluff from under the more coarse hair.

I would think that is the undercoat. It will grow back for winter :)

Oh goodness. Piper is 11 months and her adult coat isn't all in. Maybe different because she's LSC?
