Giada quietly goes from 11pm to 6am in her crate now. Not a peep. Given that she is only nine weeks old, the question now is, how long is too long to make her wait to get up and pee? We LOVE to sleep in (which means 8) when we can given that we're both up early on most weekdays, but is asking a little puppy to hold it that long in any way dangerous? I figured if things get desperate in her crate she'll start to fuss but haven't pushed it past 7 hours.....

Mine is 13 weeks. She was sleeping thru the night by 10 weeks. I went to bed last night around 11. Slept till almost 9. She fussed around 6:30 (normal time to be up) but I slapped her crate to stop her and she went back to sleep.

No, it's not dangerous. Just make sure she has plenty of water during the day and she's allowed out when she has to go. Holding her bladder can cause bladder infections/irritations. Lack of water the same. I like to keep a bottle of D-Mannose on hand. If I see a break in housetraining, I start to add that to their meals to help kill any bacteria that might be starting..
