Has Fromm been watching the Brady Bunch lately??

I'm not using it but was interested because you don't see a lot of pork foods. In fact...I think Eagle Pack has it-anyone else?

I am using Fromm Salmon mixed 50-50 with Orijen Fish and am going to switch to Fromm Duck mixed with NV Instinct Duck next.

How do you get the sample-just e-mail them? That's a good idea to do!

Yes....i just e-mailed them and also Artemis will send you several packets of their food by UPS. I have Trixie on Canidae food but use the others as rewards or treats. She loves the Artemis food.

I feed actual cooked pork chops with actual apple sauce to my dogs. And they love it. Don't know if that's helpful. But I'd certainly try a kibble based on the combination (except it has
barley.) I like actual apple sauce because it's high in vitamin C/ascorbic acid. But this is cooked, which kills the C, but they add it back in.

(and I'm talking in loops. So I'll stop now...
)

I wonder what "cheese" they use. That could mean a lot of different things, yes?

Fromm was the only kibble Janka-bean liked out of 4 brands I tried with her.

Timberwolf was a sorry failure, and I made the mistake of buying the 33 lbs (i think) bag when she first came home. Wellness Chicken she liked for 3 days. And when I bought a bag of TOTW Pacific Stream, she had about 1/2 C and decided it wasn't worth her time ... I can't even use it for training treats.

I even make gravy out of Evangers 100% chicken, beef, beef and bacon for all her kibble brands. No cigar for me.

I think in her mind, she is all, "Why should I eat that when I jolly well KNOW mom has raw chicken, beef, etc. sitting in the fridge for me?!!?"

But she certainly like Fromm's Duck and Sweet Potato. And the porkchops does sound DELICIOUS enough for humans. :YUM: I do wish it comes grain-free.

Let us know how your dogs like it. I wanna know how it smells like!
Hey Stig, I like your sig. line... that was the fox speaking to the Little Prince, yes?

"Back to Basics" has a pork food as well.

this sounds like a good option, think I will call and ask for a free sample.
i asked the owner of my petfood store about the new Fromm food. he is a big avocate of this food, he said he knew about the new product and is getting samples, but he said its coming with a hefty price.

its amazing how much dog foods have gone up, but with the ecomomy it should have been expected.

I was considering trying it during the summer months just to add about 1/4 a cup to each meal of it. I feed Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato along with a little of something of their other formulas.

So far their prices haven't gone up here.

Hey Jean, Where are you getting Fromm? Having a really hard time finding someplace in Buffalo that carries it other then in the city. Since I am in Rochester maybe I can pick it up from there.
I get it from Mario at (TLC) Natural Pet Foods on Alexander. 215 Alexander St Rochester, NY 14607 585 530 3371

I don't know if he has the pork formula yet. He's got a lot of foods, tell him Jean sent ya!

I was going to try Errow on the Surf and Turf. Thanks for the help. Going to Rush tonight so maybe will have time to stop. Have to make sure it's not too far out of my way.
Give him a call before you go-he is not big on the high protein stuff-but he orders things if he has a distributor!

I always wait until I have a work thing in Rochester and then go, to save gas. I have to plan, call and order and make sure I have enough food between my about monthly things in Rochester!
