How do dogs manifest from poison ivy exposure? My GSD has been sniffing some poison ivy at the park I suspect. He’s got a spot on his nose now

may just be coincidental.

i’ve had several dogs that have run all through poison ivy/oak over the years and the only issue that’s come up is one of them transferring it to me.

Same for me....never had my dogs get poison oak even after sniffing running jumping in it for miles. I have been told it can transfer from its coat to us humans but I never had that happen. I have gotten it myself from skin exposure when hiking.
