Just curious if it’s typical of the breed.
When Fantom doesn’t like the food brand he would just eat a few bites and just drink lots of water. He really resisted and refused to eat more. It lasted for a few days until I got his regular food and his appetite was back to normal.
(This was when I ran out of Orijen and the store doesn’t have any available so I got him Royal Canin while waiting for my order.)
Now I stocked up on food as I know he’d willing go on a hunger strike if he doesn’t get the food brand that he wants.
Just surprised as he was on Royal Canin with the breeder but I switched him to Orijen. Not sure if it’s just the dog food or the just a quirk of the breed (my past dogs tends to eat anything I put in their bowls).
