Ok all you perch trainers- how do I get my puppy Zar to stop thinking that the perch (feed tub) is a new toy? 
He gets all excited when I take it out and starts biting it & pawing at it. He will fling his whole body on it if I keep luring him forward with the food. I've been able to reward a foot on it once in awhile, but he thinks the perch is WAY too much fun! :crazy:
He is 11 weeks old, by the way. He does well with food luring when it comes to heeling, sit & down, so he does have some powers of concentration!
