Just thought I would pass this along if you give your dog peanut butter (I do). Look on the ingredients panel for the sweetener Xylitol in place of sugar. Peanut butter manufactures have started to use this sweetener as a substitute for sugar but Xylitol can cause hypoglycemia in dogs. A Vet in my area has seen 4 cases of this and one in a diabetic coma in the past month. Not trying to scare anyone, just a recommendation to look at the ingredients panel and avoid peanut butter that includes this sweetener if you give it to your dog(s).

We use Smucker's Organic Natural Peanut Butter at my house and have for a long time. If we do give Baron PB then he gets the good stuff, same as us. The way I see it, if I wouldn't eat it then neither will my dog.

It's not the cheap PB using xylitol. It's the fancy "flavored" PB.
