Does anyone have one of these paw towels or something similiar? Supposedly they are way more absorbent than regular towels. Since we've been having to clean Patton's paws everytime we come in lately (darn wet IL winter) something that was a little better might come in handy?
Thanks in advance.

i think i have seen something like this, but i balked as i thought they were expensive...although they may be worth it in this muddy season if you are using 5 towels a day like we seem to be doing

i did give the dog's baths last weekend and bought these

they worked very well! dried them off alot quicker than using many towels, it still took some work, but less towels. and pretty cheap, but we'll see how long they last! they are like shams for dogs, and they didnt seem to mess with their coat or anything. Just hand washed and rung them out!

i made some. i sell them as well up here in toronto. go to wall mart and buy some terry cloth material, the sort that is used for towels. you can cut it in any shhape you want, size that you want and decorate it the way that you want. if walmart does not ahve any you like, go to a specialty fabric store such as fabricland. you can often find it with animal prints, paw prints, kitties on it, pups etc

Bearla even has a pink camoflauge one. out of a yard of material i can make approx 8 or 9 large towels. the material per yd is often around $1.99 - $3.99 a yd. pretty cheap when you compare the price to petsmart etc

I have this thing for drying my dogs after a bath that is awesome! Its is VERY similiar to a chamois (sp?) to dry off cars. I bought it through Shure Pets. I dont really know what the material is.. but its like a rubbery like stuff. So, the hair rinses off real easy, not like some of the cloth type ones that the GSD hair sticks into! In all honesty, I spend about 2 minutes rubbing my dog with it while he is in the shower, and he is dry enough that he can run around the house!! Its really the best thing I have found. I have alot of dogs to wash.. and this thing is really a timesaver!

I found the link for it:
