I know that Parvo is transmitting by my dog coming into people/dogs/objects that have been in contact with infected dog feces. If I put boots on my puppy, will he be able to walk outside without fear of Parvo?

Yes, I have read of others doing that. What I did when my Sting was a puppy, was do walk him by office buildings and kept him on the sidewalk, where there weren't dogs. In the neighborhood, I just walked him on the sidewalk.

Check with your local vet and ask them for the incidences of parvo in your area. It can be a good indicator of whether or not you should risk it. I walk my pup out in our neighbourhood because we have nearly zero stray or unvaccinated dogs in our area. So we walk on sidewalks and roads close by the house after she had her second set, as advised by the vet, as the incidences of coming in contact with it are exceptionally low. There is still a risk, which is why I carry her into stores still and don't let her near my shoes when we're home.
