I am currently supplementing my dog's food with coconut oil and salmon oil. I know others here are doing the same. I am curious if people use other oils and, if so, which ones and why?

I supplement with the fish: Omega 3. Though for another oil, flax oil would be a different one.

I use fish oil, coconut oil and flax oil.

I mix coconut and virgin red palm oil. Red palm oil is a fantastic oil. It is similar to coconut oil having high medium chain fatty acids, but it is also high in tocotrienols (form of Vitamin E that is difficult to find in the modern diet) and carotenoids.

I mix them 3 parts coconut oil to 1 part red palm oil. I feed about 2 tablespoons of this mixture daily.
