Has anyone used this? I need a new food for Murphy. He can't seem to tolerate lamb and while he can handle chicken, he can't handle the 'poultry'

He right now is on Puppy Chow. *yeah, I know, kills me to buy it* and he was on Dog Chow for a bit but OMG he was itching himself to death. SO back on the puppy chow he went, but he's still itching, and his fur is so dry and under his legs it's really bare from scratching.

I've been through a few different brands and most will give him pudding poops but his itching and scent has to stop. So, I went on a hunt again today and looking for something affordable that I can feed both dogs and a family of 5 can still eat.

Murphy is going to be 7 mos old tomorrow.

I just switched to Costco's brand of dog food, Kirkland, if you have one around you its a decent food and 1/2 the price of Nutro.

You are PA?

Look for Annamaet Option. It is a very high quality food for dogs with allergies.

It is Catfish based and should help quite a bit. I am nearly 100% sure your dog has never been exposed to Catfish protein because I have seen it in only two foods so the chance of a reactions is very small probably zero.

Vets all over the country use it.

I wont touch anything made by Nutro. It caused my dog to vomit blood and have bloody diarrhea. It's TOXIC waste IMO. Just Google about all the other dogs and cats who've become very ill and even died from eating this food. I personally wouldn't chance it with my pets. Not that the ingredients are good to begin with.

You said you've tried other foods, which foods and how long was he on it? It can take some time for dogs to adjust to new foods. Did you slowly switch over or did you go cold turkey? Also, you wont know if it helps with the itching or not unless he is kept on the food for at least 3 months.
