I have a 4.5 month old puppy. Still doesn't want to eat well. Doesn't seem to like his food. I put it down he comes over checks it and walks a way. Was thinking about trying a sample of this. It's called professional 30/20.any one no anything about it?
There's a lot of cheap junky ingredients here, IMHO. Meat meal and fat could be from anything -- anything thrown in a vat and cooked down. It would be better to see a named meat or meat meal (like chicken or beef). The corn is also cheap filler. Some German Shepherds do very poorly on corn (developing itchy skin and/or GI issues) -- they have sensitive tummies. Then there are bunch of other cheap fillers like beet pulp, brewer's rice, rice bran and wheat middlings -- which they'll say are for firm poops, but that's an awful lot of this food!
Are foods made by Diamond available to you? If so, look at the Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice for a relatively low-cost, budget-friendly option that's far better. It offers a lot of bang-for-the-buck for people looking for middle-of-the pack, affordable option that still has decent ingredients.
