A friend at work her male GSD who is 3 has started peeing on the floor. She took a sample to the vet last night and it came back clear. They told her to watch him and if he continued to do it to bring him in. They think it might be behaviorial.

However he started doing this out of no where, he does go all day with no accidents so not really sure what to think. Do you have any suggestions?

What I always recommend it keep up with the vet to assure it's not medical.

Then REALLY up the exercise and time I spend with my dogs when they start behaving strangely. Alot of time it's because I've become too busy or the weather too CRAPPY for our normal routines...

Is the male intact? Could be prostate problems.

Males can develop incontinence after neutering. Could be bladder stones. If it continues they should of course bring him in to be seen by the vet. Whenever there is a sudden change, even if it seems behavioral, there may be a health issue behind it.
