We are being forced by our condo association to get rid of Leo because of some stupid 20lb rule we were unaware of. Leo is a purebred german shepherd. He is well trained and extremely calm, playful, and loyal. He is AKC Registered and has all of his shots. This is going to be a heartbreaker for my fiance and I so we are looking for the proper home for him. If you are interested in adopting him call me at 914-513-7950.

Does anyone else find this a little suspicious? Before buying a home we lived in a condo too and if you know they allow pets then you would also know the rules. You mean to tell me he suddenly grew up and they realized he was over 20#.

Regardless, he is a handsome gsd and I hope he can find a loving home.

Living in a Condo there is always rules. I just wonder what they were thinking when the got Leo.
Leo is a big boy for only 11 months

Thats weird that they didnt know how strict they were when they got the condo. My apt has a 20lb rule too but they allow exceptions. Mainly I was told "As long as the dog is not aggressive, we are ok with it"
