I just got my pups papers the other day and I noticed Zorry Vom Kirschental and after that it has (GER) next to it. Does that mean the dog was imported from Germany and then registered with the AKC and what exactly does DNA mean. Sorry for the newbie questions.

Yes, GER means the dog is from Germany. DNA is exactly what it says.... a sample of DNA was taken from the dog and stored on record.
Thank you for the quick response.
you can go to the akc website http://www.akc.org and look up dna and it will explain that.
