New at Pikoda.com! Patterned nylon webbing that can be used to make any of our personalized collars. It comes in 1" wide, same thickness as our plain nylon and in the following colors:

pink, yellow and black plaid

• diamond plate
• green polka dots
• army digital acu camo

The advantages of the patterned nylon opposed to the ribbon collars is durability. The pattern is right on the nylon instead of being sewn on the nylon. This way the collar holds up to our strong and busy GSDs.

Here's examples of the nylon:

I used to do cat collars too but due to the popularity of the dog collars/leashes I didn't sell many and stopped offering them. However, I can do them on request.... and depending how many I sold I might think of offering them again.

However, I do sell breakaway collars in 3/4" and they work great on those chubby kitties

I still sell the 3/4" breakaway size, just not the 5/8". I wasn't happy with the quality of the 5/8" breakaway buckle. I've been looking for a different brand but my options are limited.

Well, I don't have Kitty yet, If Scott gets this Job, We will be getting him sooner than what I am seeing in the future. I could get the 2 cats at home a collar, since they are moving at the end of the month to a big new house with 10 acres....(mommy lets them out....scares me to death). Anyways, What I would really like is a harness. I would love to get a kitten and have him comfortable with taking "walks" outside daily.

I guess a small dog harness could work. (Oh and why does every cat collar have a bell? Those poor things must be going bonkers!)

Kira, you can cut the bell off, I always do.

I make my small personalized harnesses in 5/8" wide that will fit both dogs and cats. Since I make these they can be made to custom sizes to fit the cats. I actually have quite a few customers with Savannah cats that buy from me because of their size.

If you want it smaller than that I have 3/8" wide COASTAL brand harnesses that I can just add the name to. Right now I have them on clearance so since I'm no longer carrying anything I don't actually make.

All of the patterned nylon is listed in each product as option of nylon color. In other words, just select it like you would normally in each product.

I have a bunch of christmas patterned nylon (and Hanukkah) with jingle bells, xmas wreaths, snowflakes, red/green plaid, etc that's not listed yet LOL. Let me know if you want to see a sample of those.

I would not recommend a Puppia harness or similar style harness for a cat. They do not have adjustable necks, and that combined with the way they fit with the vest style, they are not really made for a cat's anatomy. I had a harness similar to Puppia's and my cat was easily able to back out and get loose.
