Hi all,
New to this forum as I've always been a fan of the GSD breed. I grew up with a GSD as a child and hope to get one in the future, although now is not the right time for me. I am impressed with the breadth of information shared here as I skimmed some posts and was surprised to know that neural tube defects also occur in dogs who are deficient in folate (I am a medical student, thus learning that this information also applied to dogs piqued my interest - thanks to Carmspack for highlighting this info).
Do any of the seasoned members on here recommend any resources for me to read/follow along with forum posts so that I may expand my knowledge regarding the breed, training, feeding, and care for my future GSD? I would like to be more than prepared when the time comes for me to introduce a pup to my home.
Thanks
