It has been along time since I have logged in, but I have news. I have been battling with a severe case of Pannus/Keratitis on both the lens and the 3rd lid on My boy Rosco now for over a year. We have been driving over an hour and a half to Ohio state Vet for treatment since there was noone in the area, and it was incredibly expensive everywhere else equal distance.
I had to bring IZZY to the vet today for blood work and was greeted by a new vet! He over heard me talking about Rosco and began to ask me about his medication and told me he specializes in eye care as well!! I was so relieved to find out my own vet has brought in a new Doc and will no longer have to pay the $120 eye exams, he charges $50!! AND...wont have take an entire day off to take my boy to the vet!!
have to admit...I teared right there in the exam room!:thumbup:

If ANYONE in the Findlay/Upper- Sandusky surrounding area needs a eye specialist there is now one closer to us!

That's great! I probably would have kissed him! We've had to take Stosh to an animal opthamologist in Dallas twice since he was shot- about a 2 hr drive one way. There isn't another one in this part of the country, the vet said he sees dogs that have come from Louisiana to New Mexico.
