Kodee has a black patch on the back of his tongue that he has had since I got him. (I love it, BTW.
) But I've noticed lately that he has developed a "new" very small (maybe 1/2 the diameter of a pencil eraser) black spot near the front of his tongue. Is this normal, or something to be concerned about? I know their coat changes as they grow, so I'm assuming this is the same type of thing - just pigment changing as he matures. However, I just wanted to ask to be on the safe side...
Molly never had a black spot until around 6 months ago. Now she has one on the back of her tongue. I was told it was completely normal and just some excess pigment
I just asked this same question a week ago I think. Leica developed a spot seemingly overnight
I took her to the vet yesterday, and he did not thinkk it was anything to worry about, altho I did not have a lot of confidence in this vet ( we moved here not too long ago) and will prob try to find a new one .....but that is a diff story. If you find out anything let me know as well
Kaper just developed on a couple of months ago and is is 5. Just happened that someone posted a question on here the same time. They said it was normal.
