Info from the shelter:
A rescue can get him for free after 10 days in adoptables...however, he could be euthanized any time after 7/1… if his nose starts to run or starts to look like he doesn’t feel good they will pull him from adoptions and he’ll have 24 hours… technically, anything can be PTS after the release date… space issues, health, etc. Hopefully, that won’t be the case. I understand that the adoption rate is supposed to go up July 1st to $90.00 I think. If a group wants to take him for the $75.00 and have him fully vetted (except for a bordetello) it might be a better deal for them.

In speaking with one of the local shelter liasons, given so FEW dogs are even placed in adoptables at this shelter, she is sure this is a dog with an excellent temperment. If there is ANY inkling of doubt, they don't put in adoptables. She said "given the requirements for a pet to be considered adoptable, it must be a great dog"!
