I saw a thread a few days ago about choosing names for dogs and of course, can't find it now to save my life.

I need help with "L" names. Female. Black/red.

Any suggestions or websites to visit?

Thanks

I like using names that are in songs so I can sing them to my pups. I'd have to go with Lola based on that. But the possibilities are really endless.

I tried to hit the lowchenaustralia website, but keep getting an error message......bummer!

Keep your suggestions coming - this is a lot harder than I thought it would be!

I know it's not much help with "L" but I thought I'd mention the idea of using themes. My father for example used titles of nobility as his theme. There was a Rex, Graf, Kaiser, and Dutchess (later shortened to "Dutch") among many more similar names. I have chosen Teutonic names as my theme. Thus there has been Maximillian, Karl, Siegfried, Wilhelm, Odin, and Frigga.

I like "Leika" but my first female's name was "Ica" and they're too similar.......

So far, my family and I have come up with Luka, Leila, and Lira. I like Logan and Lazer, too, but those sound more masculine, I think.

I was able to get onto the Lowchenaustralia website today.....wow!! Good thing the pup doesn't need a name for awhile - it'll take me weeks to get through all the possibilities!

Thanks for the help

L
