We have a AKC german shepherd female. She was born on January 28th, she is 13 weeks old. She only weighs 11lbs! She looks like an 8-9 week old. We recently had some socialization with other dogs her age and they were 25lbs+.

Should we be concerned? Is there anything we need to worry about? I don't mind having a small dog, I just want to make sure she is healthy.

All puppies are different, and grow at different rates. At 12 weeks my pup Bear weighed about 15-20lbs, and the within the next month he had gained almost 20lbs! As long as you vet says she is healthy, i wouldnt worry to much about it, she may just be a slow grower. Just be sure that she doesnt have any parasites or diseases that may be constricting her growth.

Agreed.
At 10 weeks Brady weighed 12 lbs with in a month put on 20
by the time he was 1 yr 94 lbs. Now he's 110 and I am told he is fat.
What does your vet say, how much did the mom and dad weigh

My Jackson was 14.5 pounds at almost 10 weeks (just last Saturday) and the vet said he was underweight...worms...and that he would start putting on weight when the worms were gone...they are and I swear it feels like he has already gained five pounds.
