I dabbled in herding here and there with my oldest two but never had time or money for it until now. I took Isa who's 5 and my youngest at 16 months, Akbar for his first time. I'm learning right along with them.

Story behind the "weird" crook, Akbar did not respect the normal crook to keep them off the sheep as he was literally running wild after them so the lady got a plastic rake and right when Akbar went straight for the goat she held it out and he ran face first into it. So after that he respected it and he could actually learn to herd.
