He just turned 11 months. I am trying to introduce him to as many situations as possible. I want a dog that can go with me pretty much everywhere. So today we met a friend at Starbucks at the outdoor mall.

We walked around the mall with him for a few minutes (masks on, socially distancing), then we got to the Starbucks and I found a table in the courtyard while my friend went in and got us coffee and scones. And I had my dog sit and gave him a treat. And for a little over an hour, he just chilled while my friend and I visited. He was so good!

I had not expected this, to be honest. I had warned my friend we might have to cut things short if he was getting too restless, but he was good as gold.

Totally impressed with my boy. :)

I understand completely. I get a song in my heart when my girl (8 months old) ignores or chills out around other people and dogs & doesn't go into hyper-excitement "People! I want to meet them and love on them!" mode.
