Has anyone used this product? It's supposed to protect the pads from things like salt in the water or hot asphalt in the summer. It doesn't say anything about allergens but I thought it might help with whatever caused Brenna's toes to break out in cysts. I'd be interested to hear any good/bad things about it.

I like it. A lot. I use it on all the kids when it's snowy or we have freezing rain. I won't take the kids snowshoeing without it. (Well, we snowshoe. They run and post hole!
)

Also, Zamboni has a lumpy thing in one of her front pads foot that we don't know what it is (it's been biopsied and tested by specialists. No clue). It 's raw and hurts when she walks on gravel or rough sand. Musher's secret makes the pad/lump less raw.

Have you tried boots? If Brenna will wear them, they're a good option to consider too. Zamboni can't wear boots (I have a brand new pair of Ruffwear boots. She mostly just stands there. When I try to get her to walk in them, she kind of stumbles. Those boots ain't made for walkin' with my girl!)

Watch Activedogs.com. When they have Mushers Secret on sale, it's cheaper than I've found it anywhere else, and I stock up on it then.
