As I've posted a few times, we've been working hard with 4 year old Echo to help her overcome her recently developed (last 12 mos) fear aggression issue. We've seen slow but steady improvements: we took her to our Obedience Club Christmas Party 3 weeks ago; 75 people and about 60 dogs in a room about half the size of a high school gym: one slight incident with a collie who got a little too up close & personal, but othewise she was great. A little stressed at first, but got better as the eveing went on. Lots of jolly talk, did some basic obedience exercises to re-focus her attention, and she was almost her old self by the end of the evening. Last night I had ladies from the training group over for a "girls night" at my house: 10 women and six dogs visited, including 2 six month old puppies. Echo was fantastic: greeting people and dogs with tail wagging, not so much as one hackel up or lip curl the whole night! I was so proud of my girl!!!
